Telemetry Communications Units

Two RTU Panels (Remote Terminal Units) were installed at a landfill in West Virginia to enable the customer to monitor a flow meter remotely.  This was due to the location of the valve/flow meter manhole that did not allow easy access for meter viewing.  The unit also provided a way to transmit tank high level conditions and lock out pump systems in the event of a high level condition.  This system is currently being updated to include the ability to remotely control an electrically actuated valve using the same two units that are already installed onsite.
