IET offers a line of vented and non-vented pressure transducers for controlling their leachate pumps. The sensors are designed for ruggedness and long life, even in the harshest environments. Our sensors are ‘handmade’ here in the US and then computer tested for accuracy. All wetted materials are 316 stainless steel with a choice of double shielded, double jacketed cable material, which provides additional protection to the conductors sealed within. Output options are 4-20mA or 1-5 Volt, with a wide variety of pressure ranges available as well. Our sensors also include a strain relief design where the cable meets the sensor body, which prevents the cable from being damaged at this junction should be sensor cable inadvertently be ‘tugged’ or ‘pulled.’ Operating temperatures range from -4 to 185 degrees F. The accuracy of our sensors is +/- 0.1% of full scale.
If you wish to operate and control a pump in a vacuum application, we offer our Signal Manager, which when coupled to two non-vented sensors allows the operator to still use our pressure transducers, even though they are deployed in a vacuum. The Signal Manager takes hundreds of readings every second, then mathematically computes and converts them into output data which will give you a linear and steady reading on your control panels level meter display. Our Signal Managers can easily be incorporated into your existing control panel, whether manufactured by IET or others.
